how long has imperialism existed

Answers

Hey there!

Imperialism has existed from the 1500-1916

What is imperialism?

Imperialism, state policy, practice, or advocacy of extending power and dominion, especially by direct territorial acquisition or by gaining political and economic control of other areas. Because it always involves the use of power, whether military or economic or some subtler form, imperialism has often been considered morally reprehensible, and the term is frequently employed in international propaganda to denounce and discredit an opponent’s foreign policy.

___________________________________________________________

More about imperialism

Imperialism in ancient times is clear in the history of China and in the history of western Asia and the Mediterranean—an unending succession of empires. The tyrannical empire of the Assyrians was replaced (6th–4th century BCE) by that of the Persians, in strong contrast to the Assyrian in its liberal treatment of subjected peoples, assuring it long duration. It eventually gave way to the imperialism of Greece. When Greek imperialism reached an ape x under Alexander the Great (356–323 BCE), a union of the eastern Mediterranean with western Asia was achieved. But the cosmopolis, in which all citizens of the world would live harmoniously together in equality, remained a dream of Alexander. It was partially realized when the Romans built their empire from Britain to Egypt.

Would you volunteer for military service?

Answers

I'm part of Generation Z - which is 1997-2010.

I personally, would be very shocked and try to be fully educated and aware on the situation, and updates. I feel as if everyone, regardless of their generation would try to be fully updated. The difference is that Gen Z was born with access to the internet. Because of that, a lot of Gen Zers use this privilege to stay aware.

Would I volunteer? No. I'm underage. And even if I wasn't, I wouldn't. War is very gruesome and disturbing. I think people who choose to put themself on the front lines are brave, but that's not me. Also, my family would not like for me to leave on a practical sewercide(real word is blocked) mission.

I do, however, think that there would be plenty of volunteers. America could even start drafting.

TL;DR I think everyone would be in shock but be glued to the news. I wouldn't volunteer.

Answer:

Though he did end up winning the popular vote in the 2000 election, Al Gore’s campaign most likely suffered from his  controversial views on global warming and the environment.

Explanation:

During his presidential campaign for the 2000 elections, Al Gore, former vice president during the government of Bill Clinton, put enormous emphasis on issues of environmental protection and sustainable development: this position, which advocated the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere As well as the limitation to certain industries due to their enormous pollution rates, it was seen by a certain part of the electorate as a potential threat to the economic stability of the country, since the limitation to certain companies would affect the competitiveness of the nation against other companies. nations. As a result, many voters ended up opting for George W. Bush, who had a much more favorable stance toward unrestricted economic production.

Playland has 120 workers. Each worker can produce 6 horseshoes or 3
hand grenades. Playland's production possibility curve is: *
PLEASE HELP

Answers

The correct answer is D.

Explanation

A production possibility curve is a way of graphically expressing the maximum production possibility. According to the above, if Playland has 120 workers and each one can produce 6 horseshoes or 3 hand grenades, the production possibility curve would have to be used to express the maximum number of hand grenades and horseshoes that its workers can produce.

To know what is the maximum production possibility capacity, it is necessary to multiply the 120 workers by 3 (in the case of knowing which is the maximum possibility of production of hand grenades) or by 6 (in the case of knowing which is the maximum possibility of production of horseshoes).

Therefore, the maximum possibility of grenade production is

120 x 3 = 360.

And in the case of the maximum possibility of production of horseshoes is

120 x 6 = 720.

So the correct answer is D because it is the only graph that expresses these possibilities correctly.

PART 1. The statement which identifies a central idea of the text "The Rise and Fall of Karl Marx" by Mike Kubic is B. Despite the strong beliefs outlined in his writing, Karl Marx often contradicted these values in his daily life ...

PART 2. The statement which supports Part A is this quotation D. "Thanks to his mother substantial inheritance, which he made sure to receive ..."

Even though Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto, in its third plank, tried to abolish all inheritance, Karl Marx still inherited his mother's wealth to survive the extreme poverty that befell him and his family when he lost his job. He also lived his life as a bourgeoisie, not as a proletariat.

Thus, in Mike Kubic's "The Rise and Fall of Karl Marx," the reader appreciates the difficulty of humans practicing their preaching, showing that Marxism is only good on paper, not in practice
