How is there some sort of karmic retribution in the world? Explain in 5 sentences.
Answer:
The following is adapted from An Introduction to Buddhism, which serves as study material for the SGI-USA Introductory Exam offered annually in October.
In the course of practicing Buddhism and working for kosen-rufu, we will inevitably face obstacles, negative influences and functions that attempt to block our way or interfere with our efforts.
Nichiren Daishonin taught that to encounter such opposition is in fact a benefit. That is because by meeting and winning over difficulties, we naturally carry out the process of “lessening our karmic retribution.” The characters for the Japanese phrase tenju kyoju, often translated as “lessening one’s karmic retribution,” can literally be read “transforming the heavy and receiving it lightly.” Left alone, the bad causes we have accumulated over many lifetimes reveal themselves as miserable results in this and future lifetimes. But through the benefit of devoting ourselves and leading others to the Mystic Law, the heavy consequences of our karma can quickly be lightened.
In shakepeare's play 'the tempest' how did stephano contribute to the development of the plot?
Stephano helps to show a counterpoint to Prospero, showing himself as an authoritarian, with little power and relevance.
We can arrive at this answer because:
Stephano was one of the survivors of the shipwreck, which reached the island that Prospero rules. He is a braggart and is always drunk, which makes him have wild and nonsensical ideas.Upon arriving on the island, he proves authoritarian with Caliban and assumes that he will rule the island, as Prospero did. However, he tries to do it ridiculously, comic, and without any kind of planning or power. In this case, we can say that he contributes to the plot development, being a counterpoint to Prospero and showing that planning, power, and rationality are necessary to control the island.

What is the summary of the hate you give chapter 2
Answer:
The chapter opens with Starr remembering the lecture Maverick gave her twelve-year-old self about how to act around police, right around when her mother, Lisa, gave Starr the sex talk. Maverick told Starr to do whatever the police tell her, keep her hands visible, not make sudden moves, and only speak when spoken to.
Khalil pulls the car over. When the police officer asks him for identification, Khalil demands to know the reason for the stop. Starr remembers Maverick’s instructions to make note of the cop’s appearance and badge number. His badge number is one-fifteen, and Starr continues to refer to him by this number. One-Fifteen asks where they came from, but Khalil insists that it is none of One-Fifteen’s business. Starr panics and realizes that Khalil did not get the police talk from a parent. One-Fifteen tells Khalil that his tail light is broken. Khalil continues to complain, and One-Fifteen forces him to get out of the car.
One-Fifteen searches Khalil, presumably for drugs, but finds nothing. As he heads back to his car, One-Fifteen warns Khalil and Starr not to move. However, while One-Fifteen walks away, Khalil opens the car door so that he can check on Starr. One-Fifteen shoots Khalil. Starr jumps out of the car to check on Khalil, only to have One-Fifteen point his gun at her.
The chapter highlights Starr's internal struggle to balance her two worlds, Garden Heights and Williamson Prep, as well as the pressure she feels to conform to different expectations in each environment. This is the summary.
In "The Hate U Give," Starr Carter, the main character, talks about her upbringing in Garden Heights, a largely black area infamous for its gang violence and destitution. She talks about how her father tried to keep her and her brothers safe by teaching them the essential skills they would need to survive in their neighbourhood, like how to behave around police officers and the value of code-switching. Starr also introduces Maya and Hailey, her two closest friends, who go to a private school in the suburbs and are very different from her in terms of their demeanour and appearance.

What sentence states the central idea?
Answer:YES, YOUR QUESTION I DON'T UNDERSTAND
Explanation:SORRY BRO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Write a story with the ending (......and I never made mistakes again)
An ancient proverb goes, “By ignorance we mistake, and by mistakes we learn.” This implies that you always learn from any mistake that you make. However, I do not believe that this is the case. Mistakes cannot be learned from if the person behind the mistake does not care about the outcome. Because of their indifference to the situation, that person may never learn anything from their fault.
One day, my mom took me to a department store. While browsing in the accessory section I saw a beautiful hair band that I could not live without. It was pink, my favorite color, and I did not have anything like it! I knew my mom probably would not buy it for me, but I had to have it! After a little deliberation, I decided to take it. I made it all the way out of the store until my mom noticed that I had something she did not buy. I promptly got marched back into the store and was made to put the lovely hair band back. One would think that the humiliation of being dragged back through the store by my angry mother would be enough to keep me from stealing ever again– but it was not. On another shopping trip, I saw something else that I absolutely had to have. It was a gorgeous bracelet made out all different kinds of shells that fit me perfectly. My dad had said before we left the house that we weren’t going to buy anything extra on this trip, so I knew that asking him was out of the question. But, I decided to slip it into my pocket and take it home anyway.
Although I was still young at the time, I knew better. I had made the same mistake before and had gotten in trouble for it, so I knew it was something that I should not be doing. However, I did not take the time to think through what my actions would cause. I did not bother to learn from my mistake the first time, and so I just kept walking out of the department store, bracelet in hand.
In order to make the old proverb true, I think there are some qualifications that should be made. Not everyone learns from their mistakes, but I believe that intelligent people do learn from their mistakes. They are able to take the situation, look back on it, realize what they were doing wrong, and then never do it again. If it is truly a mistake then clever people will have the dignity to realize that they were in the wrong, and repair their actions for the next time. In that moment, I did not have the intelligence to piece my previous actions and consequences together with taking the bracelet. But as my dad took me back into the store and made me apologize to the manager by myself, I knew that it was one mistake that I would never make again.

Answer:
Thoreauau's personal experiences help give a sense of realisticness to what he's writing within his essay. The idea of resisting the government, being above whichever laws, seems irrational and bogus before taking the time to read this essay and while obviously there's still plenty of reason to confine to the government's wishes, his essay offers a outside input to the reasons in why you shouldn't- not because he feels as if he's immune to law, or above authority- but because he feels as current politicans and laws aren't as honorable as they are made out to be. With his personal experience he expresses that even through his time in jail, the law only confined his body and mind and alongside that with his wanting to conform to societal views however not finding them honorable makes for a convincing and engaging read, it's food for thought on the current laws we're all abiding by at this moment.
