How does abuse in power and oppression lead to conflict? Explain your answer using the example of the American Revolution Unit. (sugar acts , whiskey acts , Boston massacre etc.) at least 10 sentences
(yes im actually in middle school lol)
i will report and delete trolls
Abuse in power and oppression, unquestionably, leads to conflict. During the Currency Act of 1764, Great Britain started taxing all paper goods, and other everyday goods to the colonies. These taxes were unjust and not fair. Britain abused their power by forcing these taxes upon them without consent and/or their say in it. This leads to debt and angry people, which leads to riots and destruction. Upon that, the people took sides, some were ok with these acts, believing that they were fair. This created more conflict between the people of the colonies. Wars break out because of disagreements, which can also lead to more debt and anger. This cruel oppression also emerged the famous, well-known saying of "No Taxation without Representation". This meant that they didn't want to be taxed without representation in the British parliament. These are one of many ways that abuse in power and oppression leads to conflict.
Answer:
When abusing power, conflict will OF COURSE be created. No one likes to be taken advantage of.Especially cases like the molasses act.Under the Molasses Act colonial merchants had been required to pay a tax of six pence per gallon on the importation of foreign molasses. But because this was unjust to them, they mostly evaded the taxes and undercut the intention of the tax. This requirement was repealed because it greatly affected the significant colonial molasses trade. Then if we take a look at the cause of the american revolution, you'll see that it was caused by the British attempts to assert greater control over colonial affairs. Those colonies rebelled of course and started a war. When power is given to the wrong person or group of people it can cause great chaos. No ones likes to be controlled unfairly, so why would people not rebel against someone using their power?

How did this Act violate American Isolationism?
Answer:
During the 1930s, the combination of the Great Depression and the memory of tragic losses in World War I contributed to pushing American public opinion and policy toward isolationism. Isolationists advocated non-involvement in European and Asian conflicts and non-entanglement in international politics. Although the United States took measures to avoid political and military conflicts across the oceans, it continued to expand economically and protect its interests in Latin America. The leaders of the isolationist movement drew upon history to bolster their position. In his Farewell Address, President George Washington had advocated non-involvement in European wars and politics. For much of the nineteenth century, the expanse of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans had made it possible for the United States to enjoy a kind of “free security” and remain largely detached from Old World conflicts. During World War I, however, President Woodrow Wilson made a case for U.S. intervention in the conflict and a U.S. interest in maintaining a peaceful world order. Nevertheless, the American experience in that war served to bolster the arguments of isolationists; they argued that marginal U.S. interests in that conflict did not justify the number of U.S. casualties.

What was a common effect of the Magna Carta, English Bill of Rights, and the English Civil War?
A) laws protecting the rights of Catholics B)limits on the powers of English kings C)the creation of England's colonial D)empire limits to the abuses of Parliament
`Answer: its the answer c
The creation of England's colonial: was a common effect of the Magna Carta, the English Bill of Rights, and the English Civil War. Thus, option C is the correct option.
The primary goal of the Magna Carta was to bring about peace between the King and barons. The only time of year for military operations was during the summer due to the poor condition of England's roadways. Magna Carta, which was adopted in the middle of June 1215, successfully stopped the start of major hostilities.
Overall, both the Magna Carta and the English Bill of Rights were created in response to contentious circumstances in England; both were acts of rebellion against the British monarchy that reduced the monarchy's power, albeit to varying degrees, and both served to confer authority and unique rights on individuals.
